 HOW TO CREATE STICKER ARTWORK

A tutorial on how to easily create a print-ready sticker file from an artwork

Every piece of artwork submitted for custom stickers and labels is reviewed by us.

As a result, we provide Free Artwork Setup, so all you need to do is send us an image.

We get a lot of questions about how to set up artwork, so here are some guidelines for getting stickers ready to print.

Artwork Template for Custom Stickers

Each custom sticker artwork file has three main characteristics: a safe line, a die line, and a bleed line. All vital information on a sticker, such as text or logos, should be kept within the safe area.

Background color and bleed are used in the area outside the safety zone.

Any artwork that extends to the sticker's edge should go all the way to the Bleed line.

This creates tolerance, ensuring that the background is not cut off during production.

The Die Line, on the other hand, is the finished edge of your sticker.

STICKER TYPES

CLEAR STICKER
Clear stickers are appealing because they are transparent.

It is made of vinyl and has a waterproof effect, so it is resistant to water and does not easily tear.

It is appropriate for use in essential products such as laptops, computers, bottles, and cups.

Clear stickers are very convenient to use because it does not affect the design or the background color of any product to which it is adhered.

When compared to traditional labels, this sticker allows you to create unique effects from multiple designs.

PAPER STICKER VS VINYL STICKER

Each category has its own set of advantages and disadvantages.

The decision to use paper or vinyl stickers is entirely dependent on your needs and goals. Vinyl stickers are stronger and more durable because they do not fade or become damaged by moisture or weather elements unless they are exposed to extreme heat.

If you need an all-weather tough, long-lasting sticker that will be used outdoors, the vinyl is your best choice. Paper stickers, on the other hand, are thin and generally less expensive than vinyl, so they will save you money.
Paper stickers should be your first choice if you need to produce indoor custom stickers and labels for use on packaging and boxes.

Ultimately, your project will tell you which stickers to use.
